Krzysztof Maciejko

Hi! My name is Krzysztof, I am a bassist, composer and music educator. I studied Classical Double Bass at The Academy of Music in Gdansk, Jazz Double Bass at The Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (where in addition I graduated from The Higher Pedagogical Studium in Music Teaching). I also hold a Master’s Degree in Double Bass & Pedagogy from The Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg, where I graduated with the highest mark, receiving Kauffeldt Fund scholarship for the best graduates and got accepted for the prestigious Soloist Programme right after. I performed in USA and most of European countries.

I have ten years of teaching experience, I work with all levels, ages and music genres.

Having studied jazz&classical and played in many different settings - from symphony orchestras and big bands in huge halls, pop&rock bands on big stages to string quintets in churches or jazz combos in theatres - I really have a lot of experience and know how to share it with others, in all different genres (that I love myself - I REALLY love diversity!). But most importantly I just love music and have a passion to share!

I also teach Ear Training, Music Theory and basic piano - I know how to teach theoretical stuff as a fascinating world of possibilities which enables you to get free and use it to enhance your natural gift of musicality instead of just being a boring chore from a teacher :) (telefon skjult)
